Overview

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Request for Quote Analyst is responsible for the planning and pricing of customer work packages and programs for labor and materials requirements. The incumbent is directly responsible for the development and completion of assigned quotations and communications as required by the Request for Quote process.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Perform job estimates from the customer supplied work packages and regulatory work instructions tasks as depicted by the customer’s specific maintenance program requirements.
  2. The bid detail is to be loaded by tasks cards down to the skill and material level to determine total cumulative man-hour totals and overall skill requirements.
  3. Utilizes database that tracks bid (RFQ) versus actual performance analysis by individual task card level for each service order and common lines of work to facilitate/support the aircraft quotation process.
  4. Develops and maintains the RFQ open tracking database to trend assigned quotations as received.
  5. Assist Marketing as required to support the RFQ delivery date.
  6. Maintain current revision level of assigned technical information manuals from the HAECO GSO library.
  7. Provide daily updates to the Senior Manager of Estimating to the status of each RFQ assigned.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

  1. A&P Certification
  2. High School graduate or equivalent
  3. Two (2) year’s aircraft planning/pricing
  4. Four (4) years aircraft hands on experience
  5. Proficient with MS Office applications (i.e. EXCEL / MS Project)
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft related scheduling and maintenance packages
  7. Proven ability to read and understand prints/technical work instructions
  8. Proven ability to estimate multiple skilled Job Cards/Tasks
  9. Must have moderate written and verbal communication skills
  10. Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision
  11. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

 

PREFERRED:

  1. Engineering and Maintenance related background
  2. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license and passport
  3. Willingness to travel as required in order to support the Company
