Overview

JOB SUMMARY:          

 

The Financial Analyst will, as a member of ‘Integrated Project Teams’ (IPT), have responsibility for the accurate, timely and clear presentation of all programs financial matters.  The role is dynamic and will provide insight and interaction across many levels of the organization.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Prepare, analyze and report actual program performance on a regular basis
  2. Analyze and explain actual program performance to budget and prepare forecast to completion
  3. Present program financial status to IPT and Management as necessary
  4. Assist the IPT to understand the financial impact of decisions, explain variances from plan and support initiatives
  5. Ensuring program governance procedures are adhered to
  6. Assist in ad-hoc reporting and financial performance analyses requested by management.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance or with strong relevant experience. MBA, CPA or post graduate finance degree preferable.
  2. Two (2) years financial analysis experience in manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong problem solving, analytical and interpretation skills
  4. Proven ability to provide robust data and commercial justification
  5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software applications
  6. Individual should be a self-starter requiring minimum supervision and able to work to deliver on schedule
  7. Ability to coherently communicate, at all levels, in both written form and verbally
  8. Work as an effective member of integrated program teams
  9. Willingness to challenge other team members to drive accurate and timely information
  10. Inquisitive mindset looking for continual improvement personally and for the Company
