  • Overview

    JOB SUMMARY:  

    The PLM Administrator is responsible for the system configuration, information security, reporting and data integrity of the PLM system containing HAECO’s intellectual property.

    The role involves definition and implementation of solution enhancements including workflows, reports, and CAD/PLM/ERP interfaces. The Administrator will also provide first level user support and training sessions

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    1. Optimize PLM system configuration to provide best usability and data access speed.
    2. Provide front line user support of PLM functionality and data availability.
    3. Define and run PLM data quality checks to ensure smooth part and BOM transfer to the ERP system.
    4. Maintain, execute and troubleshoot PLM-ERP interface.
    5. Maintain process and documentation for PLM change package releases.
    6. Document and propose improvements to PLM data model and ERP interface.
    7. Convert business workflows and reporting requirements into technical specifications. Develop and test solutions in collaboration with end-users, execute production migration and post-install support.
    8. Plan and execute data conversion and bulk uploads of CAD, document, item and bill of material data.
    9. Manage inventory of user-based hardware and software requirements and propose license additions to maintain license compliance.
    10. Create and maintain deployments for PLM and CAD software installations
    11. Review, load and maintain Standard Notes and Standard Parts within PLM libraries.
    12. Develop PLM training material and instruct users.

    Qualifications

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. BS Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Business, or equivalent industry experience
    2. 3+ years’ experience with PLM systems, (3D Experience, Teamcenter, Enovia, ProFile or Windchill)
    3. 3+ years’ experience with managing CAD data within a PLM environment (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
    4. Working experience with PLM – ERP interface operations
    5. Proven ability to configure and manage PLM workflows
    6. 2+ years’ experience with report generation through SSRS, queries or data analytics tools
    7. 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database concepts
    8. 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products.
    9. Good oral and written skills.
    10. Working knowledge of engineering and manufacturing documentation, preferably aerospace.
    11. Process oriented with strong attention to following SDLC methods and documentation
    12. Candidate should be highly motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
    13. Experienced with training business users with new processes and technologies.
    14. Familiarity with problem solving skills and lean process improvement methodologies
