  • Overview

    JOB SUMMARY: Manages daily cash activity across the corporation and ensures proper documentation of bank activity.  Assists with monthly consolidated financial analysis, results and reporting.  Assists with tax related activities and maintains fixed asset reporting information.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    1. Overview and management of daily cash activity across the business, including initiation and/or approval of bank transactions
    2. Ensure bank documentation is recorded correctly
    3. Ensure financial information has been recorded correctly
    4. Management of the Company’s credit card policy and procedures
    5. Assist with the preparation of monthly consolidated financial results and Group reporting purposes
    6. Assist with external and internal audit processes
    7. Assist with federal and state corporate tax return preparation (OneSource Income Tax)
    8. Assist with quarterly tax provision calculation
    9. Assist with local property tax returns
    10. Preparation of annual information reporting and filings (Form 1099-Misc & Form 1096)
    11. Maintain the Company’s fixed asset software reporting package (SAGE)
    12. Support other tax reporting and ad-hoc analysis under guidance from the Director of Tax

    Qualifications

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    MINIMUM:

    1. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    2. Three years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, preferably including public accounting
    3. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    4. Must have advanced computer skills & be knowledgeable in typical business software, including Microsoft, with proficiency in Excel
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills

    PREFERRED:

    Experience in consolidated group and/or publicly traded (listed) company reporting
